Kiwi homeowners keeping their lawns tidy say these tools are incredibly lightweight to push around, run remarkably quiet, and have heaps of battery runtime to get the section done.
Excellent product! I bought it and have no regrets. I recommend this seller to everyone!

Lightweight and handy, can blow sufficient air to clean up my driveway and loans.

It took a few minutes to get the hang of the button and lever but I am very happy with the lawn mower.
Leigh
A simple but very effective tool

It good product, let's noise ok for small jobs. You really need at least 3 batteries for bigger job around. But I'm happy with it.

I was a little worried a battery powered mower wouldn't have enough grunt. How wrong I was, this mower is the bee's knees.

Love this Greenworks long reach trimmer. Makes trimming the bigger bushes a breeze. I don't have to use a ladder as it can reach the higher foliage.

Great on short dry grass. But taller wet grass this gets blocked up very often. Easy to clean with large enough capacity.

Light weight and perfect for our two small areas of lawn. Easy to charge and so far one charge has done 4 lawn mows.

I was pleasantly surprised by how light this mower is, but it's also powerful (the main reason I bought it) and manages to easily chew through the rough paddock adjoining our house lawn. Decent grass catcher volume and I get close to an hour out of one charge. Very good value compared to the competition.

Nice lightweight long reach hedge trimmer and not to heavy at the top of a ladder. Well priced for a quality product

I cant like this enough! Really easy to use with handy rotating handle. Easily cut through Pittosporum and Griselinia hedge branches. Also works superbly on Lomandra grasses. Excellent battery life and fast charging.

Uses the same battery as my Greenworks lawn mower. Didn't use the catcher as it clogs too easily. Very happy with the dethatch and scarify options included. After 6 weeks the lawn is looking green and lush.

I didn't want to buy this Mower. I wanted to get one in the 18v one+ range because I already had several tools and Batteries in that range. My parameters were simple.
1. Not more than $500.
2. Light enough to carry.
3. Mulch Plug that works efficiently.
4. Ease of assembly.
5. Efficient in operation with good Battery life.
After reading all reviews in NZ Consumer plus inspecting several Mowers I made a short list. I then did what you, the reader, are doing - I read all user reviews, which eliminated my 18v one+ range and led me to this Greenworks machine.
I can not comment on longevity as I have only been using this Mower for 3 months. For context I have 3 lawns which are not connected. One is the Berm lawn which is about 90 sq metres and rough grass, including Kikuyu and Paspalum . The 2nd is a 50 sq metre lawn with better grass. The 3rd is a small 12 sq metre lawn that I have formerly had to cut with a Weed Trimmer but can now cut with the Greenworks 24v Mower. Say 150 sq metres in all.
Pros:-
1. Can carry this Mower with one hand between lawns using the built in carry handle. Even with Battery in it weighs a mere 11kgs.
2. Came with 2 x 24v 4ah Batteries - one Battery is enough to do all three lawns twice.
3. Well within my price parameter at $379 including freight, 2x 24v 4 ah batteries and charger.
4. Catcher fills from the back forward. Excellent feature as means no clogging in the discharge, even when cutting moist grass.
5. Catcher fitting, removal and emptying totally simple. Catcher is made from light, ventilated fabric and, when emptied, can be pumped like a Bellows by pushing up the underside, which blows any dust from the ventilation holes.
6. All the lawns look good after mowing, even the outside Berm one. Neighbours and visitors have all passed comment on how nice they look. Gives a smooth and very even cut.
7. Although the width of cut is narrower than my former petrol mower, the time to cut all the lawns is maybe 2/3 of what it took with the petrol one. This Mower is so light and maneuverable it makes mowing faster and less effort. I can literally negotiate around shrubs and ornaments, using just one hand - and it doesn't sink into the lawn like the much heavier petrol one did, if the lawn is soggy.
8. Storage. I stand the Mower with it's front wheels in a small cardboard box, still with catcher attached and with the back wheels and catcher standing up against the wall. Neat, simple and unobtrusive.
Cons:-
1. In my opinion the assembly instructions need much more explanation, in English, to explain more clearly what the illustrations are trying to show.
2. The Mower will cut almost right to the edge if cutting along beside a wall, for instance but will leave about 10cm uncut area of lawn if nosing into the wall. ie., the blade extends to the Mower body sides but not to in front of the front wheels.
Final notes.
The lower sections of the handle, that fit into the sockets built into the body of the Mower, during initial assembly need to be pushed down, twisted and wriggled, until they "thunk" into position in the sockets. This is because there is a protrusion in the bottom of each socket that needs to fit up into the hollow section of the handle, to firmly locate and secure that section. Keep going until the "thunk' occurs. This will then align the securing screw hole, further up in the handle, with where it needs to be screwed into. In my opinion a battery operated drill or screw driver, with exactly the appropriate driver bit to match the screw head, is a help for this part of the assembly.
I haven't used the Mulch plug yet as the lawns are still well green from the rains. I'm sure though, from other users comments on Mulching and from my own observations with the efficiency with which the Mower throws the cuttings to the back of the catcher, that when the lawns dry out in Summer and need the cuttings to sustain them, the Mulch plug will perform admirably.
I hope my observations are helpful to you in your search. Good luck.
John.
