About Greenworks NZ
Greenworks is a major global battery-powered outdoor tool brand, manufactured by Globe Inc and sold across North America, Europe, Australia, and New Zealand. In NZ, Greenworks is distributed by Trade Tested, with local warranty support, replacement parts, and expert advice handled in New Zealand.
The range covers everything from 24V cordless drills and hedge trimmers for weekend gardeners through to 40V brushless lawn mowers, chainsaws, and blowers for serious property maintenance.
The key to the Greenworks system is battery interchangeability. Every 24V tool shares the same battery, and every 40V tool shares the same battery. Start with a kit (tool + battery + charger), then expand with affordable skin-only tools. No petrol, no emissions, no pull-starts — just push-button power that's quieter, lighter, and cleaner than petrol equivalents.
We're sold through Trade Tested, New Zealand's home improvement retailer, with full NZ-based customer support for every purchase.
Warranty
Greenworks tools come with a 2 year residential warranty on parts and labour (batteries: 1 year). The warranty covers defective parts and manufacturing defects under normal use. It does not cover normal wear items (blades, belts, filters, cables), routine adjustments, damage from improper handling, neglect, overheating, or unauthorised service. Non-transferable — original purchaser only, proof of purchase required. Commercial customers — talk to us about your situation; coverage is assessed case-by-case under the Consumer Guarantees Act. Warranty claims are handled by Trade Tested.
Support
NZ-based customer support — real people who know the product and can actually help.
